The Har ki Dun Trek in Uttarakhand's Garhwal Himalayas is a breathtaking excursion through verdant valleys and historic villages. This intermediate trek covers around 53 kilometers round trip and takes about 6-7 days to complete. The trip starts at Sankri village and progressively ascends through pine, oak, and rhododendron woods. Har ki Dun, or "Valley of Gods," is a scenic valley flanked by peaks such as Swargarohini and Bandarpunch. Trekkers frequently meet a variety of wildlife, including Himalayan langurs and musk deer. The valley is culturally significant for the people since it is thought to represent the road traveled by the Pandavas on their trip to paradise.
