BCCI's Record Prize for ICC Titles: Dhoni vs. Rohit

To celebrate, the BCCI announced a whopping Rs 125 crore reward for the 42-member contingent, a significant increase from previous years.Under MS Dhoni, India's 2007 ICC World T20 win earned Rs 12 crore, the 2011 ODI World Cup saw Rs 2 crore per player, and the 2013 Champions Trophy awarded Rs 1 crore per player. In contrast, the 2024 T20 World Cup prize includes:
Rs 5 crore for each squad member
Rs 2.5 crore for each reserve player
Rs 5 crore for head coach Rahul Dravid
Rs 1 crore for each coaching staff member
Rs 2 crore for backroom staff and Rs 1 crore for each selector
