So that some of the basic document is also required. Depending on the type of license, you'll need to provide certain documents:
• Basic Registration:
o Passport-sized photograph
o Government-issued photo ID (e.g., Aadhaar, PAN, Voter ID)
o Proof of business premises (e.g., utility bill, rent agreement)
• State and Central Licenses:
o Form B duly completed and signed
o Blueprint/layout plan of the processing unit
o List of directors/partners/proprietor with address and contact details
o Name and list of equipment and machinery
o List of food categories to be manufactured
o Authority letter with name and address of responsible person
o Analysis report of water to be used in the process
o Proof of possession of premises (e.g., sale deed, rent agreement)
o Food safety management system plan or certificate
o NOC from the municipality or local body
o Supporting documents (e.g., IEC for importers, Ministry of Tourism certificate for hotels)
Fee Structure
The fee for the FSSAI license varies based on the type:
• Basic Registration: ₹100 per annum.
• State License: Ranges from ₹2,000 to ₹5,000 per annum, depending on the nature of the business.
• Central License: ₹7,500 per annum.
Processing Time
• Basic Registration: Typically issued within 7 days.
• State and Central Licenses: May take up to 60 days, including scrutiny and inspection.
